We lit the seventh candle last night and with it, the light grew stronger, brighter, and more meaningful. Each flame we’ve lit so far carries more than just the memory of a miracle it holds the strength of our ancestors, the warmth of tradition, and the unbreakable spirit of our people. The seventh candle reminds us that even when it seems the oil is about to run out, our faith endures. It stands for resilience, love, and the beauty of continuing to believe, even in difficult times. Last night, as we kindled that flame, we felt once again that Hanukkah is not only about what happened in the past, but about the light we choose to bring into our lives today.
